Planners across the world have different quality standards of Radiation treatment plans. Radiation Knowledge has the mission to identify the variations in the plans and the causative factors to subsequently devise the best quality services and plans for cancer patients globally irrespective of their location. The variations in the treatment plans are dependant upon the treatment planning systems, machines, and the users’ level of expertise. We, as professionals ensure that the variations do not affect the quality of patient care by outlining the guidelines.
We urge you to join us in this initiative and be part of the quality improvement community.
To provide better cancer treatment through the sharing of knowledge.
The RadiationKnowledge initiative was coined and coordinated by Ahmad Nobah, who is an ABR certified therapeutic medical physicist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He secured a place among the top ten scorers in the International plan challenges for 2013, 2014, & 2015 using RapidArc technology.
Ahmad Nobah’s skills and passion are the driving force behind the initiative to find a way for professionals in all fields of radiation medicine to share knowledge among themselves. His vision is to create a forum of knowledge that is informative, accessible, and ultimately leads to improvement in cancer treatment and diagnosis.
